A downloadable game

This game is an adaptation of Over the Mountain by marchcrow. It's 95% the same mechanics, but in a coastal setting, taking place on an island.

Materials needed: the game sheet (1 sheet/2 pages), a notebook, a pen, a dice-rolling app or a d4, d6 and d20.

Create your island and your player character, describe the locations and inhabitants (or let an AI be your GM for more constraints!), and then throw your dice!

Everyday you roll locations, islanders, items and events that your character will encounter, as well as positive or negative outcomes. You can (or not, it's up to you!) explore dungeons and perform side quests. Narrate your (mis)adventures in your journal and see where the die will take you.

I want to give this a try as my first Journaling RPG, but I don’t understand what is meant by:

“Repeat Runs

For repeat runs, when creating your next Dungeon, add 1d6 to your score per time you've successfully cleared a Dungeon at that Location.”

Do I add the 1d6 when I’m creating the dungeon (i.e. it’ll have more rooms), do I add it when determining the number I have to beat to clear a room?

My understanding (I'm reusing Crowmarch's original gameplay here) is to add 1d6 to the 1 d20 you roll (i.e. "your score"). This should make it easier for you to clear the dungeon since you have experience and are more familiar with the location.
